Indium Corporation's Pb-Free Seminar Program Expands
Indium Corporation's Senior Technologist, Dr. Ronald C. Lasky, Ph.D., will be presenting another in a series of SMTA workshops called "Rapid Implementation of RoHS Compliant Assembly". This event will be held on March 23, 2006 at the Oak Pointe Country Club in Brighton, MI, USA.
The workshop will provide an overview of the systematic approach for compliance, developed by Dartmouth graduate students, alumni and Dr. Lasky, as well as information, tools, and recommended resources to develop and execute a plan for WEEE and RoHS compliance. In addition, the workshop will provide the "how to" of implementing lead-free including, PCB finishes, components, alloys, and SMT processes. A significant amount of process and product reliability data will also be presented. This presentation is constantly updated to have the most accurate information.

Dr. Lasky, holder of the prestigious SMTA Founder's Award, is a world-renown process expert and a visiting professor at Dartmouth College. He has over 20 years of experience in electronics and optoelectronic packaging and assembly. He has authored or edited five books and numerous technical papers, and holds several patent disclosures.
