IKO's CRBF Crossed Roller Bearings Reduce Power Consumption Visit IKO at IMTS, East Building, booth E-4752

Parsippany, NJ – IKO International's CRBF Crossed Roller Bearings will be on show at IMTS on booth E-4752. These specialized bearings feature a space-saving design, with rollers alternately crossed at right angles between inseparable inner and outer rings. Because the rollers make inline contact with the raceway surfaces, elastic deformation under load is minimal. Bearings can simultaneously accommodate loads from all directions, including radial, axial and moment loads.

IKO's CRBF Crossed Roller Bearings feature numerous mounting holes on both the inner and outer rings, enabling fast and easy mounting without the need for special housings and fixing plates. The roller guidance system incorporates special separators between cylindrical rollers, allowing ultra-smooth and high-speed rotation.

Because the rotational torque of CRBF Crossed Roller Bearings is lower than that of traditional plain bearings, the difference between static and dynamic torque capacities is small. This enables both lower power consumption and a reduced operating temperature rise, which increases overall machine efficiency.

Basic dynamic load ratings range from 2,910 to 84,300 N and the CRBF bearings' operating temperature ranges from -20° to +110° C. Ideal applications include industrial robots, machine tools, medical equipment and other machinery requiring high rigidity and superior accuracy in a compact footprint.

About IKO:

IKO is a world leader in needle roller bearings and linear motion rolling guides and was the first Company in Japan to initiate technical developments on the needle roller bearing. Compared with traditional ball bearings and other roller bearings, the needle roller bearing is small in size and light, but offers a very high load capacity. Needle roller bearings help to make the overall equipment more compact, thus saving money and resources.  IKO has also developed a range of linear motion rolling guide units for applications that require extremely high levels of precision, such as semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
