The Industrial Internet Consortium and GlobalPlatform Announce Liaison

Trustworthiness essential to IIoT market adoption

NEEDHAM, MA (PRWEB) DECEMBER 20, 2018 - The Industrial Internet Consortium® (IIC), the world’s leading organization transforming business and society by accelerating the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), and GlobalPlatform, the standard for secure digital services and devices, announce today they have agreed to a liaison to work together to advance their shared interests. Under the agreement, the IIC and GlobalPlatform will work together to align efforts to maximize interoperability, portability, security and privacy for the industrial Internet.

Joint activities between the IIC and GlobalPlatform will include:
