IGS Knives, Inc. in Red Lion, Pa is embarking on its30th year of service to the printing trade . We are one of the few companies in the USA that manufactures Knives, Blades and Slitters. Dave and Kay Herrick, owners of IGS Knives, have been in the knife grinding business for over 29 years. Dave is a "papered machinist" and has been grinding tools since 1965.
We focus on specialized staff training in today's technical environment. We pride ourselves in developing IGS employees similar to the apprenticeship method of yesterday. All of our employees are cross trained in every aspect of our manufacturing to employ ownership of each project.
We provide sales and service of knives and blades throughout the USA and Canada, and have shipped directly and through our distributors to five continents. We work with our customers to develop newer and better technology to meet their needs. Many of our customers have been working with us since our inception.
