IEEE Professional Communication Society Celebrates 50 Years with Conference on the Future of Human Communications 1 - 3 October



14 August - The IEEE Professional Communication Society (PCS), celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007, will host its annual international conference in Seattle, Wash., USA from 1 - 3 October. The conference will address "Engineering the Future of Human Communication" and commemorate the past 50 years of PCS and look toward the future. Featured speakers include Ray Kurzweil, a legendary inventor and futurist, and Chris Linnett, who launched some of the Web's most popular sites including the MSN homepage and Microsoft Office Online. Topic areas that will be addressed include information design, usability, cross-cultural communication, and visual/multimedia communication.
