IEC National To Celebrate 50th Anniversary In 2007



IEC National will celebrate its 50th anniversary as the premier trade association for America's independent electrical and systems contractors in 2007. IEC National began in October 1957 when delegates from seven southwestern associations attended a meeting in Dallas, Texas to form a national association representing independent electrical contractors throughout the nation.

Today, almost five decades later, IEC has faced the challenges imposed by the ever-changing world of the electrical industry. With 3,600 member companies in more then 70 chapters throughout the USA, IEC attempts to further the growth of our economy through skilled manpower and the principle of free enterprise.

Throughout 2007, IEC National will celebrate fifty years of IEC PRIDE. The celebration will culminate when IEC returns to Texas for the 50th Annual IEC National Convention and IEC Electric Expo 2007, October 24-27 in Houston.
