The last exposition, held in Las Vegas in 2004, hosted 780 exhibiting companies and nearly 20,000 attendees from around the world, securing its place as the most important baking industry event of the year. Already, more than 250 U.S. and international companies have reserved booth space for 2007.

The list of exhibitors includes major industry players such as ADM (Archer Daniel Midlands), AMF Bakery Systems, Bake Mark, Belsaw Bros. Inc., Burford Corp., Canol S.R.L., Colborne Corp., Dawn Food Products, Ford Commercial Truck, Fritsch USA Inc., General Mills Bakeries and Foodservice, Hansaloy Corp., Koenig Technology Inc., LeMatic, Inc., Mecatherm S.A., Peerless Manufacturing Group, Puratos Corp., Rademaker USA, Inc., Rheon USA, Rondo-Doge, and more.

"A strong showing at IBIE is an essential strategy for not only the major manufacturers and suppliers to the baking industry, but also for the up and comers trying to increase market share both domestically and internationally," says Rich Hoskins, President of Colborne Corporation and IBIE Committee Vice Chairman. "Past exhibitors at IBIE know that there is no other way to reach a broad audience of key decision makers in one place, at one time." Hoskins goes on to say that there will be a unique and heightened opportunity for exhibitors to penetrate new markets, including tortilla, cookie, snack food, confectionery, pizza, and biscuit/cracker producers and manufacturers. "This is the one and only event of the year that brings the entire grain-based food industry together."
