Integration promotes faster, paperless procedures, streamlining signature processes and delivering quicker decisions
CLEVELAND - Today, Hyland Software announced its partnership with Communication Intelligence Corporation (CIC; OTCQB: CICI), a leading provider of electronic signature solutions. The partnership will help organizations automate processes, such as electronic mortgage lending for financial services, by integrating Hyland's enterprise content management (ECM) solution, OnBase, with CIC's SignatureOne® Ceremony® Server.
The partnership combines the functionality from two leading software vendors serving multiple industries, including financial services, insurance and higher education, to create fully automated electronic processes. Hyland's integration for CIC's SignatureOne solution allows documents stored in OnBase to be uploaded into CIC's signing solution, via the cloud or an on-premises deployment, without requiring OnBase licenses. Documents can then be uploaded on either an ad-hoc basis or as part of a workflow process.
Organizations leveraging the integration through SignatureOne will have access to OnBase, gaining ECM functionality such as:
- Applying keyword values already located in the document to specify the
signer's name and email address, allowing the signer to receive an email
notification as soon as the document is uploaded and ready to sign
- Configured signature fields that allow a one-time signing method,
including click-to-sign and biometric live sign, with a signature pad or
freeform mouse signing, or signing with your finger on any mobile device
including iPhone, iPad and Android powered tablets and smartphones.
After a document is indexed it can be uploaded directly into CIC and tracked through the designated OnBase Workflow process. "The integration gives our customers greater efficiency by combining the benefits of ECM automation with our signature solutions," said Robert Williams, CIC's vice president of sales. "Making processes electronic gives our customers a competitive advantage to complete applications and processes faster and eliminate human-centric mistakes."
"Hyland is committed to providing solutions that help organizations increase efficiency and effectiveness, and we have been for more than 20 years. OnBase continues to be the document management solution of choice for lenders, insurers and higher education institutions because we constantly increase its functionality to keep up with demand of those industries," said Glenn Gibson, Hyland's product marketing manager. "Partnering with CIC will help users leverage e-signature solutions with additional ECM functionality, in turn helping them stay competitive and deliver better services for their customers."
