Huntsman Advanced Materials Gains ISO/TS 16949:2002 Quality Certification
THE WOODLANDS, Tex, July 10, 2008 - Huntsman Advanced Materials is extending its ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification to its McIntosh, AL manufacturing facility and its Woodlands, TX Huntsman Advanced Technology Center (HATC) and Corporate Administrative Headquarters also located in The Woodlands.
This third-party certification is issued by the International Automotive Task Force (IATF) and stresses customer satisfaction and continuous improvement of all business processes. ISO/TS 16949:2002 is a principal criteria used by automobile manufacturers in qualifying suppliers.
Huntsman Advanced Materials is a leading manufacturer of resin hardener systems used, for example, for the production of ignition coils and other automotive electronic components.
