HTI Plastics Hires David Jacobs as New Training Manager
Lincoln, NE – HTI Plastics is pleased to announce the hiring of David Jacobs, as the new Training Manager. David brings with him a wealth of knowledge in the area of strategic training. His main goals in this role will be to further establish the 5S workplace organization method of Lean Manufacturing and to assist the roll-out of TWI standards. He will also implement and facilitate other training strategies for HTI.

Prior to joining HTI, David worked as the Application Support Analyst at Bryan Health in Lincoln, where he oversaw the total modernization of their video conferencing infrastructure, including the introduction of web-based content sharing and virtual meeting. He also developed and facilitated a Microsoft Office Education program used to train over 4,500 employees. Previous to that, he worked for Bell & Howell as a Training Supervisor, Project Manager, Technical Instructor, and Service Technician. David trained over 5,000 students from five different continents. The team he led received the Training Magazines Top 125 Award 7 times.
David served and was deployed to South Korea while in the US Army. After serving 4.5 years in the US Army, he also served 2 years in the Nebraska National Guard. He graduated from Southeast Community College, where he studied Electromechanical Technology.
