HTI Plastics Continues Operation During COVID-19 and Hires New People
Lincoln, NE – HTI Plastics is considered an essential manufacturing business during the fight against COVID-19, and while we are still open, we have taken all the steps and measurements to continue operating and to offer our employees a safe work environment. Even though these are very tough times, HTI Plastics has not experienced any interruption in its supply chain or production. At the same time, we are pleased to announce two recent hires, Rick Hall and Tony Seymour.
Rick Hall is our new Process Technician, he has many years of experience as a set-up operator, a molding engineering process technician, and is a certified Master Molder II through RJG. “We’re excited to have Rick as a part of our HTI team,” said Chris Reed, Director of Engineering. “His knowledge and experience will help us continue to advance our technical skills and provide the best molding process to our customers.”
Tony Seymour is our new Warehouse Supervisor. His most recent experience was as a Warehouse Manager at a mid-sized distribution center in Colorado. Prior to that, Tony has held multiple jobs in both sales and distribution. “We look forward to utilizing Tony’s years as a Warehouse Manager as we grow and improve our Logistics processes here at HTI Plastics,” said Tee Welton, Director of Operations.
At HTI, we understand the importance of proper training, especially for new employees, and with social and work distancing, training can become challenging. Luckily for us, we already had a great training program in place, and our new employees can still get all the training they need while following all the safety and local Directed Health Measures (DHM).
