Horton Expands Britton, S.D. Plant to Meet the Growing Demand for Remanufactured Fan Drives
ROSEVILLE, Minn. — Horton, Inc. has doubled the size of its Britton, S.D. remanufacturing building. This expansion, completed in February 2013, enables Horton to meet the increasing need for remanufactured fan drives. Since the original structure was built, the demand for remanufactured products has grown substantially.
The addition to Horton’s remanufacturing building has further advanced and streamlined the remanufacturing process and provides for future growth. Windows, installed throughout the building, let in more natural light, which reduces energy consumption and enhances the work environment.
“The larger manufacturing area provides space for additional remanufacturing team members as product demand increases,” explains Jim Boyko, director of manufacturing at Horton.
Horton’s remanufacturing program keeps products and materials out of landfills and offers customers an economical product of uncompromising quality. Obsolete and damaged parts are replaced, and remanufactured fan drives are rebuilt to the same specifications as the newest models. The products are rigorously tested and backed by Horton’s rock-solid warranty.
