Honeywell Receives Supplier Excellence Award
Analog Devices semiconductor plant honors Honeywell Analytics for Local Site Support
Lincolnshire, IL, March 20, 2008 -Honeywell (NYSE: HON) announced that its Gas Detection/Life Safety division, Honeywell Analytics, received the Supplier Excellence Award for 2007 from Analog Devices, an American multinational producer of semiconductor devices.
Honeywell Analytics was honored as winner in the category, Local Site Support.
Honeywell Analytics provides full-time technical support and 24/7 emergency on-call service at Analog Device's Wilmington, Massachusetts semiconductor manufacturing site. This onsite arrangement also provides training to Analog Device staff-members on secondary troubleshooting and preventive maintenance. The preventive maintenance approach has been credited with helping to increase runtime between equipment failures.
Last year, Honeywell Analytics also helped to expand Analog Devices'
cleanroom space by replacing older gas detection equipment with the installation of six Vertex models. Vertex, Honeywell Analytics'
flagship gas detector/analyzer, provides up to 72 points of detection simultaneously-yet occupies approximately the same space as a centralized -gas monitor.
