HOERBIGER Service Inc. Completes Acquisition of Texas Compressor Corporation

Houston, TX, February 21, 2007. Effective February 16, 2007, HOERBIGER Service Inc. (HSI), the leading compressor services company in the United States, acquires Texas Compressor Corporation (TCC). Texas Compressor Corporation specializes in repair, remanufacture, packaging, and field service of reciprocating air and gas compressors used in the refining, petrochemical & natural gas industries. TCC will operate as Texas Compressor Corporation, a division of HOERBIGER Service Inc.
Founded in 1969, the King family grew TCC to a significant presence in the Gulf Coast region, by focusing on integrity, sound engineering practices, reliable repair, and unparalleled field service while providing customers with the highest level of customer service. A team of technicians, machinists, and compressor mechanics, using their 280 years of combined reciprocating compressor experience, repair and remanufacture compressors in their 50,000 sq ft facility located near downtown Houston. Willie King, Richard King, and all of the other Texas Compressor employees have been offered employment with HOERBIGER and are expected to continue in the same tradition that made this company what it is today.

The integration of the business is being guided by a best practices approach with leadership roles assumed by colleagues from both companies.
TCC will continue to operate under the name Texas Compressor Corporation from its current location.
