Hirschmann MCS Provides System Solution for Elliott’s Aerial Work Platforms
Elliott Equipment Company is equipping their E145 & E190 aerial work platforms with a complete Hirschmann MCS iSCALE Control System. The system includes the vSCALE D3 display, cSCALE S6 control unit, and various sensors including angle, tilt, pressure, wind speed, and anti-two block. The console features a 7” color graphic display with intuitive menu navigation using function keys and rotary encoder. This system allows the operator to view all aerial work platform information including general configuration and lifting geometry.
Hirschmann MCS customized the software programming of the system to meet Elliott’s specific requirements. The system features the qSCALE LMI software and includes J1939 engine diagnostics giving the operator the ability to view engine information including oil temperature, oil pressure, RPM, and engine hour.
This complete system solution is the result of a design collaboration between Elliott and Hirschmann MCS to provide the equipment operator with a dependable control solution.
