Helm Appointed Specification Engineer for Leviton's South-Central Region
Little Neck, NY, June 21, 2006 - Leviton Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Joseph Helm to the position of South-Central Region Specification Engineer for its Voice & Data Division. In his new post, Helm will provide technical sales support for the company's comprehensive line of data communication products. Working in conjunction with the company's extensive network of regional sales representatives, Helm will focus his efforts on building sales of the company's data communication products through the architectural and engineering communities, as well as promote the sale of these products directly to commercial end users.
Helm arrives at Leviton with more than fifteen years sales experience in the premise wiring and electrical industries. He began his career in 1993 as a sales engineer in the motor control industry and held a series of increasingly responsible positions as district sales manager, account manager and area sales manager prior to joining Leviton. Helm also ran a successful home networking business which specialized in the design, integration and installation of voice, data, audio and video systems. His past experience includes positions with Furnas Electric Company, IES Communications, Able Communications, Houston Wire & Cable and E-T-A Circuit Breakers.
