Heason Technology Expansion Continues with New Sales Manager Appointment

Broadbridge Heath, UK - October 2010: Motion control equipment and systems specialist Heason Technology has appointed Jason Breslin to head up its technical sales team as part of the Company's continued strategy to strengthen its applications engineering capability for systems integration and OEM support.
Jason brings a thorough understanding of motion control and automation systems to Heason, having held senior roles in field sales and business development management with Newport-Spectra Physics for the past 10 years where he specialised in high and ultra-high precision positioning equipment system sales to large OEMs, industrial end users, research organisations and military establishments. He holds an MSc in Advanced Manufacturing Technology that was gained after a full engineering apprenticeship and positions in design engineering, research & development, manufacturing, logistics, and internal technical sales.
The new appointment sees Jason take charge of Heason's technical sales department with objectives that will augment the Company's market position as a premier European designer, supplier and manufacturer of mechanical and electronics based motion control system solutions. The role will also involve furthering the considerable restructuring work carried out since Heason Technology joined the Variohm Holdings Group in 2007. 'Jason's extensive technical sales and business development skills are perfectly matched to our existing and our targeted markets across Europe' says Heason's General Manager Jon Howard, 'his experience will help Heason Technology to become even more proactive in our quest to provide our customers with the best performing motion systems and components at competitive prices and reasonable lead times'.
Heason Technology works closely with a select number of leading global distribution partners to provide a comprehensive range of first-class motion control components that can be combined with a full in-house design and build service for complete motion system solutions; enabling its customers the advanced positioning performance they require to excel in their own technologies.
The appointment follows the retirement of Heason's David Wheeler who played a formative role, over several decades, in making Heason Technology Limited the leading company it is today.
