Hayward Partners with Thomas for On-Demand BIM
Clemmons, NC – In an effort to meet the growing demands for BIM content, Hayward Flow Control announces the availability of On-Demand Revit BIM files for its new BYV Series Butterfly Valves. Through a partnership with Thomas Enterprise Solutions™, Hayward is providing design engineers high quality RevitMEP models generated on-demand from the latest specifications in the company's product database. This approach ensures customers get the most lightweight model for their Revit project with the confidence they are getting the latest data from the master eCatalog.
Hayward is committed to providing a positive, digital experience to its customers by providing rich CAD BIM models combined with specs and submittal information to make the use of Hayward products a productive experience with every project. "We are enhancing our customers' digital experience by offering Revit capability for our BYV Series valves, along with quick and accurate specifications," says Dave Stewart, Director of Marketing.
The unique CAD/BIM content platform from Thomas allows Hayward to create maintain its core data in a central database for on-demand generation and download of over 32 CAD formats, including Revit for BIM. Engineers and Contractors can be confident they are getting the most current data in the format that meets the needs of their particular software tool. "Discovering and specifying Hayward products should be easy and intuitive," added Stewart. "We look forward to expanding this to our other product lines and in additional BIM formats in 2015."
