Harvatek Announces Distribution Agreement With Arrow Electronics
SANTA CLARA, Calif./EWORLDWIRE/Feb. 14, 2006 --- Harvatek Corporation, one of the world's largest manufacturers of surface mount LEDs, today announced a distribution agreement with Arrow Electronics (NYSE: ARW).
According to Peter Perniciaro, vice president of Sales, "This agreement will allow more customers to become familiar with the Harvatek product line. Our combined focus will be to expand the use of Ultra-High Brightness LED's in many different market segments."
The formation of a new focused lighting specialist team at Arrow Electronics will support the design and marketing efforts for these new products. The HarvaLed series of multi-watt rated LED packages have now been used in numerous applications, from transportation and appliance applications to general illumination products.
Harvatek utilizes a unique, highly automated cleanroom manufacturing environment to fabricate its SMT LED products. Most industry standard packages are available, in addition to the Ultra-Bright package offerings.
