SEATTLE, March 9: Harris Group Inc., headquartered in Seattle, Washington has acquired the Richardson, Texas office of a major engineering firm. The office is home to 20 highly qualified professionals in the heavy process industry -- in particular, oil and gas.
This seasoned group of individuals has worked together for over 25 years and adds specialized expertise to Harris Group's expanding US presence. The acquisition further strengthens the company's global position as a full service engineering and design firm adding to its depth and breadth in the areas of process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation and controls design for sulfur removal and recovery operations.
The new office will be led by Craig Ward, PE, who was named Central Region Manager, and will be part of Harris Group's Energy Business Unit.
The office will play a critical role in the long term growth plans of Harris Group by further enhancing the company's depth of expertise in the growing energy industry sector.
