Hardware withdrawal: 3995 Optical features, 3466 Net Storage features, 3584 Tape Library features, 3583 Tape Library models L18, L36, and L72, and 3494 VTS SCSI Attachment feature - Some replacements available
Effective December 30, 2005, IBM will withdraw from marketing 3466 Net Storage features, 3995 Optical features, 3584 UltraScalable Tape Library AAP and Media features, and the 3494 VTS SCSI feature. On or after December 30, 2005, you can no longer order these products from IBM.
Effective January 27, 2006, IBM will withdraw from marketing the Ultrium Scalable Tape Library 3583 models L18, L36 and L72, selected features, AAP, and media. On or after January 27, 2006, you can no longer order these products from IBM.
