Hansen Appointed Specification Engineer for Leviton's North-Central Region
Little Neck, NY, June 19, 2006 - Leviton Manufacturing Company is pleased to announce the appointment of Brian Hansen to the position of North-Central Region Specification Engineer for its Voice & Data Division. In his new post, Hansen will provide technical sales support for the company's comprehensive line of data communication products. Working in conjunction with the company's extensive network of regional sales representatives, Hansen will focus his efforts on building sales of the company's data communication products through the architectural and engineering communities, as well as promote the sale of these products directly to commercial end users.
Hansen arrives at Leviton with an extensive background in construction and large scale commercial systems project management, including the design, development and construction of entire cable plants and communications platforms. Prior to joining Leviton, he worked as a Systems Manager with Collins Electrical Services, a Project Manager and Systems Engineer with All Systems Installation, Inc. and a Systems Engineer with Americable.
Hansen holds a degree in Construction Management from Iowa Lakes Community College. He holds BICSI certification as an RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution Designer) and LAN/NTS (Local Area Network/Network Transport Systems Specialist). He served as BICSI's North Central Region Director from 2002-2005 and is currently its Treasurer. He is a member of the NCEL (North Central Electrical League) Datacomm Council.
