Hamilton Sundstrand Systems Performing in Boeing 747-8 Flight Test


PARIS - PARIS AIR SHOW - Hamilton Sundstrand Corporation components and systems are supporting the successful flight test program of the Boeing 747-8, Boeing's largest commercial aircraft. Hamilton Sundstrand is a subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. (NYSE: UTX).

Hamilton Sundstrand supplies a variety of products for the 747-8, including the cabin pressure control system, the electric power system, emergency ram air turbine system, auxiliary power unit, and emergency signage, as well as fire detection and overheat systems, supplied by Hamilton Sundstrand subsidiary, Kidde Aerospace. The overall program value to Hamilton Sundstrand is in excess of $1 billion.
