H-B Instrument Company Employees Undergo Fire Extinguisher Training

Trappe, PA - H-B Instrument Company, a world leading manufacturer of glass thermometers, announces that their employees, management and staff, have undergone fire extinguisher training. OSHA requires employees who are expected to use a fire extinguisher to have HANDS ON training, not just a demo or video training. Dale's Sales & Service brought equipment and incendiary fluid to create a controlled fire in addition to several types of extinguishers, including some defective ones. Each person chose a fire extinguisher and was taught what to look for in a properly charged, usable extinguisher. Each employee then pulled the pin and learned how to properly aim and express the material at the base of the fire. Employees also learned that improper use of a fire extinguisher will actually spread the fire and how important it is to utilize the extinguishers' contents effectively since you do not always have time to get another. Everyone who participated received a Certificate.
