Guggenheim Aviation Partners Selects Pratt & Whitney PW4000 Engines in Deal Valued at up to US$160 Million


PARIS, June 22 / -- PARIS AIR SHOW -- Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC, as manager of Guggenheim Aviation Investment Fund II, L.P., has ordered PW4000-100" engines valued at up to US$160 million to power up to four new A330 freighter aircraft. Engine deliveries are scheduled to begin in 2010. Pratt & Whitney is a division of United Technologies Corp.

"Having previously purchased Pratt & Whitney-powered B747-400, 767 and MD11 aircraft, we are delighted to now include the PW4170 on our new A330-200 Freighter aircraft," said Paul Newrick, Managing Director, Guggenheim Aviation Partners, LLC.
