GSE Systems' Expert to Speak at Nuclear Education and Training Summit


SYKESVILLE, Md. – Nuclear workforce solutions expert Phil Polefrone of GSE Systems Inc. (NYSE MKT: GVP) will speak at the second annual summit of the Regional Center for Nuclear Education and Training (RCNET). The meeting takes place at Indian River State College in Fort Pierce, Fla. April 19 and 20.



Polefrone’s presentation, Blended, Engaging Training for New Nuclear Workers, will address the use of technology to improve workforce training in the nuclear energy industry. This year’s RCNET summit will focus on best practices in higher education training programs. Other topics will include best practices in leadership, secondary education outreach, diversity efforts and creating a collegiate nuclear culture. Over 100 professionals representing colleges, industry and vendor partners with nuclear technician programs will be in attendance.
