Greenville Based Kellett Enterprises Receives National Certification


Greenville, SC - Dec. 1, 2009 - - Kellett Enterprises, an international business that creates and manufactures solutions to noise and vibration in industrial and retail applications, has received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, (WBENC).

WBENC's national standard of certification is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and on-site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51 percent owned, operated and
controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their vendors, corporations, and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity. The certification program increases the ability of women business owners to compete for contracts at a national level.

Kellett Enterprises began as Loom Products Company in 1960 to manufacture and distribute textile machinery, accessories, and supplies.
