Greenleaf Corporation Raises Money for Hurricane Relief


Saegertown, PA, October 24, 2005 -Employees of Greenleaf Corporation, a manufacturer of industrial cutting tools and technical ceramic materials, backed by matching funds from the corporation, have raised a total of $25,366 dollars for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. The money will be donated to the Salvation Army in order to help them with their relief efforts on the Gulf Coast. "Our hearts go out to the victims of this terrible storm," commented Jim Greenleaf, the company's president. "As soon as the scope of the disaster was known, I had employees calling and emailing me asking if there was anything we could do to help."

A total of 48 employees made contributions to the fund with the company matching 50 percent of the total. "I'm proud that we were able to raise this money for the hurricane victims and I know that the Salvation Army will put the money to good use." said Greenleaf.
