Global Consultants, Inc. Acquires Blue Hammock
Acquisition Strengthens GCI's Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Practice
MORRISTOWN, N.J., Aug. 28 / -- Global Consultants, Inc. (GCI), one of the fastest growing providers of end-to-end information technology services and solutions worldwide, today announced the acquisition of Blue Hammock, Inc. Blue Hammock is a Pennsylvania-based company focused on the strategy and delivery of comprehensive services in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. This latest deal continues GCI's growth strategy of bolstering its competencies.

Under the terms of the deal, the employees of Blue Hammock will become part of GCI, which will substantially expand the company's domain expertise in Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence. Eric Carlson, currently Chief Executive Officer of Blue Hammock, will assume duties as a Senior Vice President of GCI, which will include leading the Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence division.
