Glen Dimplex Acquires Koolant Koolers & Schreiber Engineering to form DIMPLEX THERMAL SOLUTIONS (DTS)

The Glen Dimplex Group is proud to announce the acquisition of US Industrial Cooling Businesses, Koolant Koolers and Schreiber Engineering to form Dimplex Thermal Solutions (DTS).
Koolant Koolers is a US manufacturer of standard, custom and O.E.M. industrial liquid chillers and has been designing and manufacturing chillers for over 50 years. The primary applications for which they supply chillers include the cooling of lasers, machine tool components (such as spindles, ball screws and linear motors), metalworking fluids, welding equipment, water jet equipment, hydraulics and medical equipment. Additionally, the chillers are also used to condense vapor and cool fluids as diverse as battery acid and gasoline. Chillers can be built to meet UL 1995, CSA, JIC, NEMA, NFPA 79, CE or NRTL standards in addition to company specific machine tool specifications including automotive.
Since 1958, Schreiber has earned a reputation based on a foundation of engineering excellence, high quality standards, and a product that has a proven record of high performance and long-life. Schreiber Engineering Company, and now the Schreiber(TM) brand, has a reputation for endurance and quality that has helped establish a brand recognized for excellence. Upon combining Koolant Koolers and Schreiber to form Dimplex Thermal Solutions, the company now retains two U.S. manufacturing locations and a variety of cooling options. The Schreiber(TM) brand offers two off-the-shelf lines: MicroMax(TM), with 1/8 to 1 ton of cooling capacity and MasterChill(TM), with cooling capacities ranging from 1 to 20 tons. Typical lead times for these units are 2 weeks, while many chillers can be available in as little as 5 days. The Koolant Koolers(TM) brand offers cooling solutions custom-tailored to suit any application. With cooling capacities ranging from 1/8 ton to 1000's of tons, the Koolant Koolers(TM) brand of chillers can be specially-designed with specific controls, voltages, sound requirements, and footprints, while meeting UL, CSA, CE, and IP66 specifications. Perfect for integrating into machine tools, lasers, and waterjet tables, Koolant Koolers(TM) brand chillers are the solution to your specialized cooling needs.
Furthermore, as a member of the Glen Dimplex Group, Dimplex Thermal Solutions now has the capability to service and support applications throughout the globe as a cooperative effort with their new sister company, Riedel Precision Cooling. Riedel is internationally recognized as a specialist for liquid cooling and air conditioning having extensive cooling application experience with automobile manufacturers and their suppliers, mechanical engineers, plastic processors, medical technology and the food industry. This experience provides yet another level of support and capability to Dimplex Thermal Solution customers.
Through the Koolant Koolers and Schreiber brands, Dimplex Thermal Solutions now has the ability to manufacture and ship chillers from both the Michigan and California facilities, and have also implemented a service and support network that extends from North America into Europe and parts of Asia.
