Gilbane Building Company Awarded Multiple Repair and Renovation Programs at Fort Gordon, Georgia
The two projects will total $35 million and will be completed for the US Army Corps of Engineers, Savannah District
CONCORD, CALIF. (PRWEB) NOVEMBER 01, 2018 - The Savannah District of the US Army Corps of Engineers has selected Gilbane Building Company’s Federal Division to provide construction services for the repair and renovation of both Allen Hall and Moran Hall North at Fort Gordon, Georgia. Fort Gordon is home of the US Army Cyber Center of Excellence.
Allen Hall repairs total $23 million and are scheduled for completion in September 2020. The full building remodel will modernize 74,000 SF of classroom and ancillary support spaces to improve building functionality and provide a state-of-the-art learning environment.
Moran Hall North renovations will convert an existing building to provide a 28,789-SF automation-aided instructional facility containing a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) and classroom spaces. The project totals $12 million and will be completed in January 2020.
