Lebanon, Ohio (August 31, 2010) - Ghent Manufacturing, Inc. has announced the acquisition of Ephrata, Pennsylvania based WoodWare Furniture Company, a privately held manufacturer of furniture that is designed for use with education and business equipment, including computers and projectors.

This expansion strengthens Ghent Manufacturing's position in furniture products and represents another major step in the company's strategy to support education and office markets with enhanced offerings. "With the WoodWare division, we have substantially fortified our range of presentation products and presentation furniture," said George Leasure, President of Ghent Manufacturing. "The acquisition will broaden our commitment to the markets we serve, and foster growth as a result."

WoodWare Furniture will operate as a division of Ghent Manufacturing from its location in Pennsylvania. The management staff of WoodWare Furniture will report to John Rouse, Senior Vice President of Ghent Manufacturing, Inc. "We are looking forward to making this quality product line available to educational and audio visual dealers across the nation," stated Rouse.

Since 1976, Ghent Manufacturing Inc. has been dedicated to the manufacture of quality products. The company's growing Ghent line of furniture includes Waddell Display Cases, the most recognized brand of trophy and display cases.
