Geokinetics Wins Acquisition and Imaging Contract for 88 Energy on Alaska's North Slope

HOUSTON, Dec. 14, 2017 - Australia-based 88 Energy Ltd, parent company to Accumulate Energy Alaska Inc., has awarded a contract to acquire and process the Icewine 3D 2018 survey on the North Slope of Alaska to Geokinetics Inc., a leading global provider of seismic acquisition, imaging, reservoir characterization and multi-client data to the oil and gas industry.

The Geokinetics scope of work includes acquiring 200 square miles (520 km²) of 3D land seismic data, plus fast-track PSTM processing managed and executed at Geokinetics' global headquarters in Houston. Geokinetics will support Icewine 3D 2018 and other North Slope operations with a new 9,000 square foot operations center in Deadhorse.

This award reflects Geokinetics' successful acquisition track record in Arctic environments, coupled with industry-exclusive 3D processing technologies.

"Maintaining a local presence, staffed with regional experts, allows our Alaskan team to deliver the responsive service that operations such as Icewine 3D 2018 demand," said David Crowley, President and CEO of Geokinetics. "In this challenging environment, we very much appreciate 88 Energy awarding our company this programme."
