Gentherm Announces Climate Controlled Seat (CCS) Contract Award

First CCS Contract Awarded by Mercedes-Benz Cars

NORTHVILLE, Mich., Aug. 8, 2017 - Gentherm (NASDAQ-GS:THRM), the global market leader and developer of innovative thermal management technologies, announced today that it has been selected for a next generation Mercedes-Benz car line in the upper or luxury segment. This award represents Gentherm's first advanced seat comfort system program with a major premium luxury German brand. First shipments are scheduled to begin in early 2020.

We currently provide many seat heaters for Mercedes-Benz cars, however, this is the first time we have successfully worked together on a climate seat.
