Genesis Plastics Welding Among Medical Device Manufacturing Leaders Participating in MD&M West

A provider of contract manufacturing, design and engineering of radio frequency (RF) welded products, Genesis Plastics Welding will be among industry leaders participating in the Medical Design & Manufacturing (MD&M) West, February 12 to 14 in Anaheim, CA. Genesis is a long-time participant in the event, widely known as the medical device industry's largest manufacturing and design show.

The Genesis team, including CEO Tom Ryder, Sales Manager Jeff Etchison and Sales Engineer Renée Clinard, will be on hand to share the company's many new developments and capabilities with those visiting Booth No. 1657. These developments include the addition of a second ISO 13485 compliant, Class 7 clean room that better enables Genesis to meet the medical industry's increasing demand for products that cost less to produce, have higher integrity and are composed of phthalate-free plastics.

"As always, we are anxious to discuss the benefits of RF welding as a viable, efficient and affordable way to eliminate polyvinylchloride (PVC) and polyurethane (PU) in plastic product and component manufacturing, an increasing concern of many medical device manufacturers," says Ryder. "We're eager to demonstrate how Genesis can assist companies meet challenges in research and design, address environmental concerns and increase product performance with our proprietary heat sealing technology, ecoGenesis."

Visitors to MD&M West will learn how international medical suppliers and manufacturers are partnering with Genesis to manufacture products such blood pressure cuffs, inflatable bladders, hot and cold therapy devices, compression therapy sleeves and drainage bags.
