GEMCO Manufacturing Welcomes Horst Bratke and JCD Marketing

Mark DiVenere, president of GEMCO Manufacturing Company, has announced that Horst Bratke and JCD Marketing have been brought on board as GEMCO’s New England and Mid-Atlantic Manufacturing Representatives.

Bratke is dedicated to providing specialized component solutions to firearm manufacturers throughout the territories that he now represents and throughout the country. With over 25 years of experience in manufacturing, Horst brings a wealth of experience to multiple markets including electronics, medical devices and industrial lighting.

Bratke’s primary charge will be to support GEMCO’s current business partners while identifying and investigating new relationships with companies that are seeking high quality, dependable support in the area of custom, precision metal stampings and wire forms.

He joined JCD Marketing as a manufacturer’s representative in 2015 where he was responsible for sales of the company’s full line of custom metal and plastic components across a variety of Industrial markets. Bratke purchased JCD Marketing in 2019.

Prior to his career at JCD, Bratke served 10 years as Director of Purchasing for O.F. Mossberg, where he had both domestic and international purchasing responsibilities for all firearm components. Horst also held similar positions at the Wiremold Company in Rocky Hill, Connecticut, Shelter Logic Corp in Watertown, Connecticut and Dow-UT in Wallingford, Connecticut.
