Gateway Expands Retail Distribution Through Telnor, Baja Mexico's Leading Telephone Company

MEXICO CITY, Oct. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Gateway, Inc. announced
today the availability of its Gateway brand of desktop PCs at Telnor, a
subsidiary of Telmex, Mexico's leading telephone company. Just in time for
the holiday season, Telnor will initially offer two Gateway desktop computers,
the Gateway 3010m and the Gateway 3020m at all Telnor's 22 retail stores in
Baja California.
The Gateway 3010m and Gateway 3020m desktop PCs combine premium features
like high-performance 64-bit Intel(R) Pentium(R) processors and multi-format
double layer DVD burners for affordable prices. The monthly payments start at
just 599 pesos. Telnor is selling both the Gateway 3010m and the Gateway
3020m bundled with a choice of 24 months of Prodigy Infinitum broadband or
Prodigy dial-up Internet service.
