G&L Precision Die Cutting Makes Charitable Contributions

San Jose, California --- May 21, 2008 - In 1978, Jerry Alberico, Loren Alberico and Connie Pierce saw a need in the exploding computer industry - the need for hub rings for floppy disks - and started a die cutting business with two machines in their garage. From providing engineered-solutions for die cutting for floppy disks, the founders expanded their mom and pop business to now providing worldwide solutions in precision die cutting, lamination and printing services to the medical device, aerospace, electronics and industrial industries. This year marks the company's 30th anniversary and to celebrate the occasion, G&L has made donations to The American Cancer Society and The American Diabetes Association.
"Connie Pierce was instrumental in our growth, and we honor her memory with the donation to the Cancer Society," commented Loren Alberico, president. "We also wanted to thank our many IVD customers for their business, thus the donation to support the fine work of The American Diabetes Association."
