G&L Precision Die Cutting Joins the Lohmann Group

San Jose, CA -October 1, 2009- G&L Precision Die Cutting, Inc. today announced that it has been acquired by Lohmann Corporation, a 100% wholly-owned subsidiary of Lohmann GmbH & Co, KG, which was founded in 1851. It will retain its name, G&L Precision Die Cutting, but become a limited liability corporation, LLC.
Collectively known worldwide as The Lohmann Group, Lohmann is one of the world's leading manufacturers of specialty adhesive tapes and high-precision die-cuts. Lohmann adhesive tapes are used in a wide range of industries including automotive, building and construction, in the manufacture of consumer goods, in electrical and electronic devices, in the printing industry, mobile communication and for hygienic products. Worldwide with more than 1,100 employees and manufacturing facilities for solvent, dispersion, hot melt coating, and high-end die-cutting, in the USA, Europe and China, the Lohmann Group is well positioned to serve the ever changing global requirements of its customers for local service and production.

G&L founding partners, Loren and Jerry Alberico will continue to operate the company from its existing facility in San Jose and no personnel will be adversely affected.
