Future Electronics Holds Expert Panel on Localized AI, Machine Learning at AEU ‘19

Montreal, Canada (thomasnet) October 16, 2019 - Future Electronics, a global leading distributor of electronic components, hosted a keynote panel about artificial intelligence and machine learning on Thursday, September 26th at their global headquarters in Montreal, Canada.

As consumers increasingly expect their devices to understand them instinctively, this new paradigm has the opportunity to bring electronics into markets never before considered.

"Embedded Intelligence Rising: Keeping up with Advances in Localized AI and Machine Learning" explored ways to meet this challenge, including through expanded knowledge of more complex embedded firmware and software, and identifying which markets will bring customers the most value.

The expert panel featured senior representatives from Future's platinum-level suppliers, including Ganesh Balamitran, Senior Business Development Manager for Embedded Microprocessors and Embedded AI at Renesas, Neil Rice, Senior Marketing Manager of the Microprocessor division at Microchip Technology, Bharath Sudarsan, Director of Artificial Intelligence at SomaDetect, and Dwight Kitchin, Chief Technology Officer at Cottonwood Creek Technologies.

Embedded Intelligence Rising was part of Advanced Engineering University (AEU) '19, Future's premier event for training the members of its Advanced Engineering Group on the latest technologies and applications from their valued partner suppliers. AEU is an opportunity for Future's Field Engineers to expand their technical knowledge and experience so they can help customers succeed in getting their products into production.

Future's full Advanced Engineering team for the Americas attended AEU '19, along with Advanced Engineering staff from various offices around the world.
