FTI Consulting Launches Electricity Consulting Group


Jim Drzemiecki and Tanya Bodell to lead FTI advisory services focused on the electric power sector

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Aug. 30 - FTI Consulting, Inc. (NYSE:FCN), the global business advisory firm dedicated to helping organizations protect and enhance their enterprise value, today announced that Jim Drzemiecki and Tanya Bodell have joined the company's Economic Consulting practice to form the Electricity Consulting Group. The new group will provide strategic and tactical advisory services to both established and emerging businesses operating or investing in the electric power sector.

Mr. James H. Drzemiecki, formerly of Charles River Associates (CRA), has joined FTI as a Senior Managing Director to head the Electricity Consulting Group. Mr. Drzemiecki has over 30 years of experience in advising industry leaders in the electric power sector on a variety of issues associated with creation of shareholder value. Mr. Drzemiecki previously spent six years at Trans-Elect -- the first independent transmission company to successfully implement a regulated transmission project in the United States -- as its Vice President of Acquisitions, Rates and Regulation. Prior to Trans-Elect, Mr. Drzemiecki advised electricity and gas clients as a consultant at several established professional services firms.

Ms. Tanya Bodell, also formerly with CRA, has joined the Electricity Consulting Group as a Managing Director. Ms. Bodell has over 15 years of experience providing business advisory and expert support to electric power sector clients. Ms. Bodell writes a regular column for Electric Light & Power (www.elp.com) and frequently presents at industry conferences.? She is a MIT Sloan Fellow with a Masters in Business Administration and has an advanced degree in Public Policy from the University of Chicago.
