Frisa Inaugurates New Open Die Plant

The 80 Million USD investment lays the groundwork for opportunities and growth.

Frisa recently inaugurated its new Open Die Facility, an investment that will strengthen its position as a global supplier of forged components for industrial markets.

The Frisa Open Die plant will provide top quality forged components such as blocks, discs, hollows, bars, spindles and step down shafts in various grades of Steel and Carbon base alloys.

Located in Garcia, Nuevo Leon (just 6 miles away from Frisa’s other facilities), its 90,000 sq. feet (8,000 sq. m) of manufacturing space equipped with state-of-the-art heating and pressing technology enable the company to produce larger, heavier and more complex shapes.

This new facility represents a leap in Frisa’s forging solutions portfolio to expand and strengthen the company’s business in the North America region. “We are very excited because this investment enhances our operations and manufacturing capabilities, and represents a number of new opportunities for our customers in terms of product offering and know-how.” said Eduardo Garza T Junco, Frisa’s CEO.
