Freescale Introduces 8-bit MC9RS08KB Microcontroller Family

Newest cost-effective solution for entry-level applications offers simplicity without sacrificing design flexibility and performance.

AUSTIN, Texas - Freescale Semiconductor introduced the new entry-level MC9RS08KB (RS08KB) 8-bit family featuring an integrated peripheral set deigned to improve system performance and save additional component costs. The RS08KB microcontrollers (MCU) include an efficient RS08 core that supports interrupt capability and helps to improve overall system performance. The RS08KB family eases migration by offering multiple package and flash size options and pin compatibility with other 5V families. CodeWarrior Development Studio for Microcontrollers speeds time to market and supports the RS08KB and other Freescale 8-bit families.
