Free Seminar to Optimize Insurance Payouts from Hurricane Sandy


Price Law Group is holding an insurance seminar in Lindenhurst, NY on Saturday, March 30, 2013 to help residents file insurance claims related to superstorm Sandy. The seminars are called "How to Maximize the Value of Your Property Insurance Claim," a spokesman for the firm said.



The sessions are "for Long Island residents who have questions or need assistance" with their claims, the firm said in a statement. New Jersey focused issues will be addressed in future session in NJ meetings forthcoming shortly. Stuart Price, the Manhattan-based firm's founder, will speak, a spokesman said.



Key topics will include how to have the insurance company address hidden structural damage that is necessary to be compensated for, if insured, so as to restore the property to pre-storm conditions.  Concepts also covered besides "bad faith" of insurance firms will be topics of mold and proper remediation of soluble salt intrusion that cause accelerated corrosion, disbondment of paint repairs, and even the risk of fires from the electrolytes added to the structure.



The the information session will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. at Knights of Columbus, 400 South Broadway, Lindenhurst, NY  11757.  Seating is somewhat limited. More similar events will be announced for next week, the spokesman for the firm said.
