Flextech Adds Equipment to Increase Foam and Foam Composite Thermoforming Capacity


To meet the increasing demands of clients in the medical, industrial and personal protection markets, Flextech adds $1M in new equipment and system upgrades.



St. Louis Park, MN – Flextech, Inc. a custom foam fabricator located in St. Louis Park, MN, recently invested $1,000,000.00 in new manufacturing equipment and mechanical, electrical and computer system upgrades to their facility.



CEO Willie Monteiro explained, “We have experienced growth in our foam thermoforming business across all of the markets we serve, but specifically in the medical and industrial sectors. The equipment additions include three industrial ovens, three hydraulic compression molding presses and a single station vacuum former. The combined purchases added four new foam thermoforming cells to Flextech’s capacity. “Best of all, we were very pleased that all of the equipment could be purchased from US equipment manufacturers,” concluded Monteiro.
