FlexLink and Tsubakimoto Chain Co. Cooperating for Growth in Japan


Tsubakimoto Chain Company and FlexLink have decided to enter a strategic partnership with the aim to develop the Japanese market of production logistics systems and solutions with supporting services throughout the country.

Japan is a leading market for industrial automation and offers substantial growth opportunities for the combined offer of Tsubakimoto Chain Co. and FlexLink.
The target is to grow substantially within a broad spectrum of manufacturing industries within the Automotive, Electronics, Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and Healthcare segments.

Tsubakimoto holds a strong position within the automotive and pharmaceutical industries and partner network. Combined with FlexLink's product range, and engineering competence in the Electronics, FMCG and Healthcare industry, a strong platform for providing production logistics solutions and engineering is created to support industry throughout Japan.

The cooperation agreement was signed May 31 and will be effective July 1'st, 2010. To support this purpose, Tsubakimoto have set up a new division, Module Business, with the responsibility for sales and engineering of the combined offer.
