Fittings Supplier Partners with Non-Profit Clean Water Relief Effort
Englewood, CO –  What began as a customer contest evolved into a touching event for Colorado based company Industrial Specialties Mfg. (ISM). Customers of ISM were invited to submit a photo and description of how they used ISM products. One of the many entries was from Healing Waters International, interestingly also based in Colorado.  ISM supplies fittings, filters and flow control products to customers all over the world.
The photo submitted by Healing Waters International included a young man smiling next to a water filtration system. The description received read:

“Healing Waters uses ISM strainers, orifices, and fittings in our water treatment systems to purify drinking water in developing countries. This helps provide safe drinking water to hundreds of thousands of people around the world without access to safe water. ISM parts are reliable and robust even in adverse conditions.”
ISM took interest in this contest submission. Company President James Davis stated, “We found that one of our customers was using our products in systems that ultimately provide safe drinking water in developing countries.” ISM’s contest review panel was impressed by the story and voted Healing Waters International as the contest winner. As such, Healing Waters received an iPad mini, Amazon gift card and a donation of an array of ISM components to service Healing Waters International for the remainder of the 2014 year.
ISM wanted to share this story to encourage and inspire other businesses to donate products, services or funds to worthwhile causes whenever possible.
