FisherCast Receives ISO/TS Registration


FisherCast Global Corporation, a world leader in zinc and magnesium alloy die casting services, announces that the company has received its ISO/TS 16949:2002 certificate of registration. The company was audited by BSI Management Systems (Americas).

ISO/TS 16949:2002 standard, the successor to QS-9000, is an internationally accepted technical specification that defines the requirements for establishing, implementing and operating a quality system in the automotive supply chain. The aim of the Standard is to encourage improvement and effectiveness in the supply chain and was developed by vehicle manufacturers as a mandatory requirement.

Registration means that FisherCast Global's manufacture of production tooling, pre-production and prototype precision zinc alloy die cast components, and custom small and intermediate size precision zinc alloy and magnesium alloy die cast components comply with all requirements and standards of automotive OEMs and suppliers.
