First Source Worldwide Celebrates 20 Years in Business
A Message from our Founders Dale & Carrie Clark
As First Source Worldwide, LLC enters its 20th year in business, we are amazed and humbled at how far we have come. When Dale created the name with his wife and business partner, the current CFO, Caroline Clark CPA, we laughed at the “Worldwide”. Now we have people and facilities throughout North and Central America through our family of companies. That geographic footprint has torpedoed us to strong customer and supplier partnerships domestically and globally. We have truly earned our name and are showing no signs of slowing down.
As we reflect on where we are today, clearly hard work, determination, great people, and a little bit of luck were involved. At times we went against the grain by expanding when others were contracting in our industry. We have diversified into different industries, competencies, and services as well as different geographic regions. Our commitment to making quality products, distributing for the best companies, and providing exceptional technical support through our tremendous pool of knowledge from our talented technical staff has made us a trusted supplier to many with a loyal customer base.
All businesses are not without hardship and difficult times – and we are certainly no exception. As we look back on 9/11, downturns in the economy, and most recently the pandemic; we have survived because of hard work, trusted partners, our dedicated team members, and supportive customers – both new and old.
As we celebrate and enjoy this milestone in our company’s history, we are also looking forward to the next chapter in our evolution. With the rapid pace at which technology advances in today’s environment, we are laser-focused on partnering with customers and suppliers to bring the very best solutions to the market. We understand that what was progressive even five years ago is no longer relevant and we must work hard to innovate and bring forward new ways of doing business for the benefit of our customers, our team members, and our communities.
In closing, we personally want to thank all of you that have been a part of the FSW family in one way or another over the course of the last 20 years. On behalf of our entire team, we look forward to forging new paths with you in the years ahead.
