Regal Research and Mfg Co today announced the expansion of its automated robotic welding capabilities in becoming the first contract manufacturer in North America to utilize the Trumpf TruLaser 5020 Robotic Welder. “This equipment will expand our already robust welding service offerings as we continue to focus on product and assembly level manufacturing for the medical, aerospace, industrial, defense and semiconductor industries”, stated the company’s Executive Vice President Mike Powell. The Trumpf 5020 allows for fast, high-precision welding without the need for an additional deburr process in most cases, which is ideal for assemblies and products that have annual quantity requirements.
